Bill Hill

Bill Hill has been passionate about painting and drawing since school days when he gained a “distinction” pass at A-Level Art. He studied “life and figure drawing” at the Royal College of Art in Kensington while studying civil & structural engineering at University. He has subsequently progressively attended adult education art classes and workshops involving using pencil, pen & ink, watercolour, acrylics, and oil paints, although he now specialises in pastel paintings. He works from his home art studio in Warninglid. He is a member of the Haywards Heath U3A Pastels & Mixed Media Art Group as well as the Adventurers Art Club, which he joined in 2008. He has exhibited paintings at exhibitions and displays arranged by both art groups, including for his first solo exhibition organised by Adventurers at Clair Hall Haywards Heath in June – July 2010.
