15th January

Our first meeting of the year is a working session and we welcome back Fiona Hosford with her golden harp.   She will play a variety of soothing music while we capture her onto paper. Please bring preferred materials.

22nd January

It's "Chairman's Challenge 2" Can you keep up with him?    Brian will host a working art challenge evening in Brian style, are you ready for this?

29th  January

Brighton based artist Curtis Tappenden will give us a demonstration using gel pens. If you thought that they were just for kiddies, think again.

5th February

Two club favourites Terry Harrison and Fiona Peart are back with us tonight, each giving a demonstration. Always a fun evening. Terry also sells brushes, books etc.

12th February

A new demonstrator to the club, Roger Dellar. He will do a demonstration of an interior in oils. 

19th February

Half term so no meeting

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

26th February

A fun, lighthearted evening with caricaturist & illustrator Neil Barton. He will do random sketches of willing victims and give us a chance to learn how to get a likeness quickly. Not an evening to miss.

5th March

A very popular demonstrator, Roy Lang. He will show us how he achieves his atmospheric seascapes in oils. He also enjoys a Cornish pasty!

12 March

The AGM. A very important date in the club year, so it's quite important that you come. Membership fees are now due with an expiry date of end of April.

19th March

Anne Chadwick will demonstrate a landscape in oils. Best known for her portraits she also paints the Sussex countryside.

26th March

Tony DeSaulles is the illustrator of the Horrible Science books series. Tony will talk about his work and show us how he creates his pictures. Please bring a pad and pencil and have  a go yourself.
